Did TDP Add 71 Fake Voter Names Under One House Number?
The YSRC Party officials were preparing to take a complaint to the commission that the 71 voters enrolled from a house bearing one door number in polling station number 164 of The Nellore assembly segment (117) were fake. By the evening the list was updated and 63 voters had been deleted.
YSRC provided photocopies of the voters' list containing 71 names bearing door number 4-2-75 in NDR Layout, Krishna Mandiram area in Nellore segment to the media. They had retrieved the information from the Online electoral roles on Tuesday. However, the names of 63 people had disappeared from that list by the evening.
YSRC legislator Dr Anil Kumar Yadav said, “We took the issue to the notice of civic body authorities and they have removed the names now.” With suspicion of TD party being behind these fake voters, Dr Anil Kumar said alleged that TD men were found collecting Aadhaar numbers of voters probably to delete the names of those not voting for them.
