TDP MLA Chintamaneni Fires Sakshi, YSRCP Dalit Leaders

Eluru: TDP Chief Whip and MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar is facing the ire of Dalit groups in Andhra Pradesh after a video showing him using expletives against the SC/STs during a Janmabhoomi program  went Viral.

Just 24 hours after the news was reported in Sakshi newspaper, Chintamaneni and his followers reached Sakshi Office in Eluru and created a ruckus about the article published about him. Chintamaneni and his followers were seen creating a scene there. When told that nobody was available he left threatening to come back again.

Meanwhile, there was mild tension when Dalit organisations staged a protest against the Dendaluru MLA for his remarks degrading them at the Fire Center in Eluru. The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) SC Cell members, along with the  Dalits Welfare organisation got together and were planning to conduct a Dharna (protest) against the leader’s comments , but were prevented by the TDP activists who were close to the MLA and this led to mild tension in the town.
