It may be recollected that YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's sister YS Sharmila had lodged a complaint with Hyderabad Police Commissioner seeking action against those trying to defame her by spreading false rumours on social media.
A Naveen has been produced before the court today and sent to 14 days Judicial remand by the court and later shifted to Chanchalguda Jail. The police have filed a case against him under section Sec 509 IPC and Section 67 of the IT Act.
P Venkateswara Rao who hailed from Vemula village in Mundlamuru Mandal in Prakasam district had posted highly obscene remarks and objectionable comments on the posts on YS Sharmila especially under four videos which were posted by Naveen on YouTube. The police are investigating as to why Venkateswara Rao (who was a barber by profession) made such remarks.
Meanwhile, the Police are still trying to trace the source of such videos and the IP addresses from where these videos originated and also details of the commentators and other aspects.
