Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy Is Recovering, Say Doctors

Tirupati: YSRCP MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, who was attacked by Telugu Desam Party (TDP)leaders, is recovering.

Ruia hospital superintendent Siddha Naik informed that he is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital in Tirupati and his health condition is stable.

Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy along with several women and senior district police officials were attacked and injured by local Chittoor TDP workers in Vedantapuram Agragagaram, Chandragiri in Chittoor district on Sunday.

The MLA was in the district to attend the "Pasupu Kumkuma" program being conducted at various places of the constituency.

As he was trying to address the public, TDP party workers disconnected the mike and obstructed his speech. Claiming that it was a TDP program and Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy had no right to address the program, the TDP leaders hurled abuses against him and attacked him. The activists further attacked the YSRCP women cadre by throwing chilli powder as the police tried to stop them but stones were hurled at them resulting in many getting injured.
