Nagababu’s Birthday Gift To Nara Lokesh On YouTube
Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi's brother and star, Nagababu, trained his guns at AP IT minister and chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's son, Nara Lokesh describing him satirically as a forthright and candid politician. Announcing the launch of a YouTube channel, titled "My Channel, Na Ishtam", Nagababu said that he was going to post political features meant for light-hearted entertainment and not to be taken seriously. Nagababu took a dig at Nara Lokesh with a tongue-in-cheek remark that the IT minister was a candid and forthright leader.
The megastar's brother was alluding to a famous slip by Nara Lokesh in which he described the Telugu Desam as a party riddled with corruption, casteism, communalism and other menacing social evils. Pointing to Lokesh's slip Nagababu said in a tone dripping with sarcasm, that it is true that God speak through children and hence, they do not lie. To rub it in, he added that a long time ago, he heard that children know no deception.
Such candour is a rare sight in contemporary politics, the Megastar said. Nagababu had till recently been firing his satirical comments at actor Nandamuri Balakrishna and has now turned his attention to Nara Lokesh, raising the eyebrows of Tollywood watchers and people in political circles alike.
