YS Jagan welcomes KCR's initiative

Leader of the Opposition in Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy told media persons that it was necessary for regional parties to fight for the rights of states. He added that to surmount challenges such as the Centre granting Special Category Status to AP, a promise given on the floor of the parliament, it was necessary to have the required numbers in terms of MPs to exert pressure on the Centre. YS Jagan said that if 42 MPs from both the states raised their voice against the injustice of the Centre, it would have the desired effect. He welcomed KCR's initiative to fight against injustices being meted out to the states and his effort to create a national platform. The YSRCP chief observed that KTR had called on him following Telangana chief minister, K. Chandrashekhar Rao's telephonic conversation with him yesterday. YS Jagan welcomed KCR's initiative and added these were the initial discussions, which be given a firm shape after KCR's proposed visit to Andhra Pradesh later. I will discuss on how to take forward the Federal Front after discussing it with my party, the YSRCP chief added.

After the meeting between YS Jagan and KTR, the TRS leader posted this tweet on his Twitter handle:
