NIA Takes Custody Of Accused In YS Jagan Attack Case
Vijayawada: The attacker in the murder attempt on Leader of Opposition and YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Janupalli Srinivasa Rao, has been taken into custody by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday, as per the orders of NIA court delivered on Friday. He was taken to the government hospital for examination under special protection.
The accused Srinivasa Rao will be shifted to NIA office in Hyderabad via road. He will be in the custody of the NIA for a week. Once in three days, he will be taken to the hospital for health checkups and interrogated in the presence of his lawyer, if sought, as per court orders.
