Lakshmi Parvathi  - Sakshi Post

Tirumala: Lakshmi Parvathi, wife of former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh late NT Rama Rao (NTR) , commented on actor and Hindupur MLA N Balakrishna's biopic on the late NTR . Speaking to the media after having darshan at Tirumala in Tirupathi, she said that Balakrishna had no guts in showing Chandrababu's true colours as a villain in the movie. She said that even if he produces three parts of the biopic the film would still be half-baked and the he can never show the truth. It may be recollected that she is front- ending the biopic on NTR titled Lakshmi's NTR directed by Ram Gopal Varma.

She said that film would expose the truths about those who had stabbed NTR in his back, indirectly referring to Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, and the means he resorted to in order to dethrone NTR, his father-in-law, to grab power in August 1995. NTR died later on January 18, 1996.

She said that Ram Gopal Varma had promised to depict the truth about the treachery and despair that NTR underwent after the coup. She has been fighting against this for more than 23 years and that Chandrababu had turned the entire Nandamuri family towards himself. She also said that Chandrababu said NTR's family members would never accept her and after he formed the government he said that they had accepted her exposing his double standards.

NTR had started the Telugu Desam Party against the Congress, but Chandrababu cosied up to the Congress now and it was only the YSRCP leader YS Jagan who was fighting the Congress. She added that she would support him in his his fight against the TDP and others who allied with Chandrababu.

She congratulated YS Jagan on the successful completion of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra. She said that by Gods grace he would win the coming assembly elections with a thumping majority and that the time has come for the state to get a a new leader , she concluded.
