TDP Panicky As NIA Likely To Probe Unanswered Questions

Kakinada: Investigation into the murderous attack on YSR Congress party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken a new turn with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) getting into the picture. It is said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) was working under the guidelines of the top leadership of the TDP. Now with NIA stepping in, fear among the higher-ups in TDP and others involved the murderous attack is clearly growing. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s face seems to have gone pale after learning that NIA has taken up the case.

Chandrababu was seen behaving nervously in the Kakinada, Janmabhoomi program, learning about the court orders. It is learnt that the Visakhapatnam police have declined to hand over case details with regard to the SIT investigation so far.

It was obvious that the SIT team’s investigation in Thanelanka, the native village of accused Janupalli Srinivasa Rao, was a formality. SIT expended all its energies trying to prove that the accused is a fan of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Therefore the SIT ignored the conspiracy angle sticking out like a sore thumb in the case.

Suspicions and Unanswered Questions:

* Subba Raju, brother of accused issued a statement after the attack that they were TDP loyalists. But later under extreme, he started claiming that the accused is a YSRCP fan. What is the strategy behind this?

* After the murderous attack on the leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP leaders Nadimpalli Srinivasa Raju, Mattaparthi Venkateswara Rao and others had a meeting with the accused’s family at their place, and since then Subba Raju is claiming that they are YSRCP supporters. After this meeting came to light, the TDP leaders never met the family again.

* The flexi claimed to be erected by the accused Srinivasa Rao was not seen on the first day. Subba Raju also said it was lost long ago. On the next day, a similar flexi was discovered under a heap of sand, nearby where it was erected previously. However, there is a rose flower on the newly discovered flexi, which is missing in the previous one.

* Mummidivaram Mandal Parishat president Pithani Satyanarayana Rao is an acquaintance of the family. He has leased lands to Tata Rao Srinivasa Rao’s father and members of his family. This fact was left out totally and clearly for obvious attempts to water down the case.

* Srinivasa Rao’s family raises cocks for fights and later sells them. In the process they have established links with TDP leaders. A local TDP leader, who is a close aide of the MLA’s brother is also close to the family but has been left out of the investigation. What about the relations of the family with the other TDP leaders? This angle has not been probed.

* How did Harshavardhan employ a unknown person as chef in his airport restaurant in current times when even normal owners inquire about the employees before offering job, who took accused to Harshavardhan? Who is responsible for the NoC to the accused from the local police?

* It is said that the accused threw a huge party to his family, and friends, when he was in the village. During the party he even told his friends that he is going to buy land worth a crore and began to scout for four acres of land to acquire. Has any investigation been done on this aspect?

* Where did the weapon used in the murderous attack come from? Where did he buy it? No inquiry has been done locally on it.

* Have the prime suspects been questioned?

Ignoring all these questions and the conspiracy angle, the SIT decided to prove he was a supporter of YSRCP.
