NIA Probe To Expose Chandrababu In YS Jagan Attack Case: Midhun Reddy

YSRCP former MP Peddireddy Midhun Reddy - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Welcoming the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) decision to probe the murderous attack on Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, party former MP Peddireddy Midhun Reddy said the investigation would prove that the attack was conspired by the Nara family. Addressing the media at the party office here on Friday, he said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu tried hard to divert the case in the wrong direction.

"How could the officers below the rank of the DGP investigate the case. DGP RP Thakur had dictated the case within half an hour from the incident. The police have projected Srinivasa Rao as the lone culprit behind the attack. We have approached the High Court in demand for a third party investigation."

Midhun Reddy wondered if Chandrababu would in the future issue a GO blocking the NIA from carrying out its operation in Andhra Pradesh after blocking the Income Tax department and the CBI from operating in the State. Speaking on Chandrababu's press meet where he showed the video of Watches being donated to the people of Madanapalli by MLA Desai Thippa Reddy. Midhun Reddy said the imprint of TRS symbol behind a Watch was a manufacturing debate and that Chandrababu's comments reflect his narrow-minded nature. "The MLA ordered for Watches in Gujarat. Behind 150 Watches, the TRS symbol has been imprinted. Why did Chandrababu not object to the posters of KCR during Paritala Sriram's wedding? Did Chandrababu not invite KCR for the stone-laying ceremony in Amaravati in person? Did he not attend KCR's Chandi Yagam? The Watch manufacturer himself acknowledged his mistake. How could Chandrababu politicize such a petty thing?" he asked.

The YSRCP leader further said Chandrababu ditched Revanth Reddy in the note for vote case. The AP CM tried to forge an alliance with the TRS during the last rites of Nandamuri Harikrishna, he commented.
