YSRCP Issues Show-Cause Notice To Dr. Gowtham Reddy

The high command of the YSR Congress party took a very stern view of certain objectionable comments and issued a show-cause notice to YSRTUC president Dr. Punuru Gowtham Reddy for hurting the sentiments of Muslims. Taking a serious view of his remarks made during a television channel discussion, the party sought an explanation from him as to why disciplinary action should not be taken and why he should not be suspended from the party.

The disciplinary committee of the party gave Gowtham Reddy 3 days' time to submit his explanation.
