AP BJP Chief Kanna Has No Right To Criticise Chandrababu: TDP MP Rayapati

Guntur: Veteran TDP MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao announced that he was not quitting politics and would contest in the 2019 elections on a Telugu Desam Party ticket .He also confirmed that his son, Rayapati Ranga Rao would be entering politics. Speaking to the media at his residence in Guntur on Thursday, he said that the Telugu Desam Party would win more than 120 seats and that the AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was doing a lot for the development of the state and thanked him for sanctioning Rs. 600 crore for the Palnadu Water Grid which was helping solve drinking water problem in the Vinukonda, Gurazala, Macherla Assembly constituencies .

He said he was ready to contest from any seat as per the directions of the party. He also predicted that the TD would win at least 120 seats in the coming Assembly elections. Addressing the media in Guntur on Thursday, he said he and his son, Rayapati Ranga Rao, were ready to contest elections as per the instructions of the party.

When asked about the comments made by BJP state president, Kanna Lakshminarayana, Rayapati Sambasiva Rao said that had no right to criticize Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu and talking about his background said that Kanna Lakshminarayana used to live in a shed in Guntur city and came up the ladder and earned thousands of crores of rupees through corrupt means. He predicted that Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu will become Chief Minister once again and that the Congress–TDP alliance was only relevant to the state of Telangana a of now, and whether it would also be extended to Andhra Pradesh would be decided by the High Command, he said.
