Governor ESL Seeks Report On YS Jagan Attack From AP DGP

Hyderabad: Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states, ESL Narasimhan called the Director General of police, AP, RP Thakur and enquired about the attack on AP Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's life. ESL also sought a deatiled report on the incident and the security lapses which led to the attack.
It may be pointed out that people across all sections of society were shocked at this major security lapse in a high-security zone like airport where everyone is subjected to a thorough check.
Meanwhile, scores of supporters staged an impromptu dharna at the Vizag airport. Similarly, spontaneous protests erupted in other parts of the state as news of attack spread like wildfire.
The YSR Congress Party has condemned the attack, calling it cowardly while demanding the resignation of Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
