Doctors Report On AP Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Attack: Knife Inserted 4 Cms Into Shoulder
Hyderabad: Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was shifted to the City Neuro Hospital in the city after he suffered a severe shoulder injury in Visakhapatnam Airport this afternoon. It may be recalled that Janipalli Srinivasa Rao, a worker in Fusion Foods in the restaurant, attempted to kill the YSRCP Chief with a sharp knife in the pretext of taking a selfie with him.
The doctors at the hospital carried out a surgery on YS Jagan's shoulder. In a health bulletin released by the doctors of City Neuro Hospital this evening, it was said that nine sutures were needed on the mass leader's left shoulder.
"The knife was inserted as deep as 4 centimeters into YS Jagan's shoulder. He is keeping good health right now. His blood samples were sent for examination, to check if any poisonous substance was laced with the knife. The decision on his discharge would be taken after the reports are examined," said the doctors.
