YSRCP MLA Reminds TDP Leaders About Chandrababu’s U Turns On SCS

Hyderabad: YSR Congress party MLA and senior party leader, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, lashed out at the Telugu Desam party expressing surprise at the party's statements on Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to the media at party headquarters here today, he questioned the AP government's unilateral decision to submit a report to the 15th Finance Commission without calling for an all-party meeting.

While Leader of Opposition in AP and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had been firm on SCS to the state, Chandrababu had been singing praises of a Special Package, he pointed out. Buggana reminded TDP leaders about Chandrababu Naidu's frequent u turns on Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh. He pointed out how the AP chief minister had lauded the benefits of a Special Package as opposed to SCS and had passed resolutions to this effect.
The senior YSRCP leader said that agriculture in the backward region of Rayalaseema was reeling from neglect under TDP rule. The government was putting out fake statistics on jobs and investments, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu, with his tall claims, was turning AP into a butt of ridicule everywhere, he said. While the state was sinking into debts, the chief minister made false claims about its progress Buggana said. Chandrababu Naidu, who once claimed that a world-class capital required Rs. 1 lakh crore oddly enough now says that Rs.2,000 crores would be enough.
