Rajahmundry: Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar asked to know why Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's address on Zero Budget Natural Farming was not put out on the portal of United Nations Organizations. Speaking at a press conference here today, he asked why Chandrababu signed a Memorandum of Understanding worth Rs 16,600 crore with the SIF organization. He recalled Chandrababu's earlier announcements claiming to have attracted 20 per cent of the foreign funds in the State worth Rs 18 lakh crore investments.

Undavalli urged Chandrababu to release a white paper on the investments and maintain transparency. Condemning the wastage of Rs 20 crore for the transportation of the general public to Polavaram project from various districts, he asked Planning Commission Vice-president Kutumba Rao to respond on the matter.

When the AP farmer producer organization was questioned on the matter, they had denied to disclose the details as per Section 8 in the Right to Information (RTI) Act, he observed. Referring to former RBI Governor YV Reddy's autobiography released in 2005, he recalled that the economist mentioned the irregularities in business magnate Ramoji Rao's Margadarsi Chit Funds. Undavalli condemned the protection from punishment to Ramoji Rao.
