9 Teachers Who Met YS Jagan For CPS Abolition To Be Charged By AP Govt

Visakhapatnam: Seeking the abolition of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS), nine teachers who met Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly and YSR Congress party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his mass contact initiative, Praja Sankalpa Yatra in the district recently are set to be suspended by the Education department. The teachers asked YS Jagan and sought his help in solving the issue and handed a memorandum.

The YSRCP Chief promised to cancel the CPS system immediately after coming to power. In this context, on Sunday, the teachers joined the people's leader in the padayatra and supported him. Learning about the teachers' support to YS Jagan, the Department of Education authorities are planning to take revenge by punishing them.

On charges of violating the rules, the officials, it is learnt, are preparing to suspend the nine teachers. Details of the nine teachers are being traced by the department authorities.
