TDP MLA Chintamaneni Followers Assault Vijayawada Traffic Constable

Vijayawada: Followers of TDP MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar assaulted a traffic constable who pulled them over for jumping a signal. The incident took place late last night. Enraged followers of the MLA got down from the car which jumped the signal and got into an argument with the constable on how he could stop their car.

The traffic constable insisted on taking the car to the police station following which got infuriated them even further. This led to an assault on the constable by the followers of the MLA.
The constable involved in the incident filed a complaint in the Governorpet police station here. Police have taken Chintamaneni's followers into custody.
