Opposition Against TDP Highest In India: BJP MP
Vijayawada: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP GVL Narasimha Rao today said that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was lying blatantly in the legislative Assembly. Speaking to media here, he said that the Central government bore the expenses of the construction of the Vizag-Chennai corridor and that the State government was not spending a penny on the project. Criticizing Chandrababu for lying frequently, the MP said that it was shameful on his part to claim credit for the work done by others.
Narasimha Rao lashed out at Chandrababu for saying that the Centre allotted more funds for the construction of the statue of Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel than for the developmental activities in the State. He said that Chandrababu was trying to gain political mileage from the warrant issued by a Court.
The Rajya Sabha member observed that the opposition among public against the TDP was the highest from against all the political parties in the country. He quoted a national survey's findings on the loss of the TDP in the upcoming elections.
