JC Diwakar Reddy A Thorn In The Flesh Of TDP
TDP MP and former minister JC Diwakar Reddy has embarassed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and party leaders on several occasions in the recent past.
On the eve of the no-trust vote against the NDA government moved by the TDP in the Lok Sabha, JC Diwakar Reddy who represents Anantapur in the Lower House said that his presence would make no difference to the outcome. In saying so, he was hinting at defying a party whip, though he subsequently relented and took part in the no-confidence motion.
More recently, in the presence of chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP MP said that he knew Andhra CM would not give him any post and that he might quit politics. He even counselled the chief minister against his Dharma Porata Deeksha telling him it was of no use to the amusement and puzzlement of others present on the dais there including former union minister Sujana Chowdary, AP minister Bhuma Akhila Priya, TDP MP Murali Mohan and others. It is learned that TDP leaders from Anantapur are unhappy with JC Diwakar Reddy's behaviour and style of functioning.
