Chandrababu, Call For Early Elections: BJP MP

BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao - Sakshi Post

Vijayawada: BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for not showing the courage to go for early elections like Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) did, and for fearing defeat in the upcoming elections. Speaking at a press conference organized here, he said that Chandrababu failed to build even one permanent structure. Adding that it was hilarious to hear Chandrababu saying he would host the Olympics, he observed that even the officers started to indulge in corrupt practices, drawing inspiration from the TDP MLAs, ministers and MPs.

Narasimha Rao said that Chandrababu made a mockery of democracy by providing ministerial berths to four of the 23 MLAs who had defected to TDP from other parties. The State government is the reason for the main Opposition party's boycott from the Assembly, he added. Demanding that the government reveal the names of investors in the Amaravati Bonds, he remarked that Chandrababu was making money out of debts also.

The BJP leader felt that the TDP MLAs turned into brokers in their respective constituencies. "The TDP MLAs are collecting a share of 10 per cent from the funds allotted for contract works in their constituencies. CM Chandrababu is busy arranging money through corrupt means, for the TDP's election fund," he added.
