Vijayasai Reddy Stands Up For Sexually Harassed Victim, Seeks Justice

Visakhapatnam: A girl at Visakha Vocational Junior College was allegedly sexually harassed by the college's correspondent Venkata Satya Narasimha Kumar. YSR Congress party (YSRCP) MP Vijayasai Reddy, along with the victim and several college students, approached the district Collector seeking justice in the matter.

It may be recalled that a student approached YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his Praja Sankalpa Yatra at Dhara Bhogapuram in Rambilli Mandal in the district here on Sunday. The girl alleged that TDP Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao was protecting the accused from police action.

Seeking appropriate action against the accused, Vijayasai Reddy handed over a memorandum to the Collector. According to the victim, Kumar invited the girl over to his residence to discuss academics and misbehaved with her.
