Chandrababu Insulted Haj Piligrims: YSRCP

YSRCP leader Mohammed Iqbal - Sakshi Post

Krishna: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Mohammed Iqbal criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for humiliating Haj piligrims. Speaking to media here today, Iqbal said that Chandrababu invited the piligrims to Amaravati and made them shout Telugu Desam Party (TDP) slogans. He added that it is because Chandrababu does not have respect for Muslims, that there is not a single member from the minorities in the State Cabinet.

Iqbal said that the government was booking anyone who raised questions over illegal mining, under various cases. "Why is it that Chandrababu is protecting the real accused?" he questioned.

The YSRCP Fact Finding Committee, 10 days after the blast, is visiting the mining area for inspection, he said. The State government should ensure transparency in the case by allowing the opposition leaders to visit the mines, he added.

"Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan is repeating the words of Chandrababu. Pawan does not have awareness about the false cases foisted against YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Why doesn't the government work on the pending quid quo pro case filed against Pawan Kalyan?" he questioned. The YSRCP leader said that Pawan was trying to mislead the public over Kapu reservation issue.
