Why Did TDP Cover Up Lokesh’s Tantrik Prayers At Kanaka Durga Temple?

Bharatiya Janata Party leaders - Sakshi Post

Vijayawada: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) official spokesperson Uma Maheshwara Raju today hit back at the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders for levelling false allegations against BJP Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao. Raju dared the TDP leaders for an open debate to prove their allegations. Recently, the ruling party leaders alleged that the BJP MP was involved in a Rs 100 crore scam. "If the TDP leaders are confident about their allegations, they should call for a CBI investigation," he said.

Raju said that the TDP leaders were attacking the opposition parties for questioning their corruption. He added that the people of the State were well aware of TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna's history.

The BJP spokesperson observed that the TDP government removed Suryalatha from the governing council of the Goddess Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada, since she belonged to Backward Classes. "The TDP is an anti-BC party. That is why she was removed. We demand that the government release the investigation report," he asserted.

The investigation report has not been released to cover up the Tantrik prayers conducted by Minister Nara Lokesh inside the temple, he said. "What action has been taken against Lokesh after allegations came up against him?" he questioned. EO Surya Kumari, who had oversaw the prayer arrangements, has been promoted to a plum position, he said.
