Chandrababu Unfit To Continue as CM: Varaprasad

Former YSRCP MP Varaprasad Rao - Sakshi Post

Guntur: Participating in today's Vanchana Pai Garjana (Deception Day Protest), former YSR Congress Party MP Varaprasad Rao said that TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu was unfit to continue as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. He said he takes pride in the fact that he quit his MP post for the sake of state and people. Chandrababu was incompetent enough to get the bifurcation promises fulfilled, he observed.

The YSRCP leader demanded to know what Chandrababu had achieved in the four years as AP CM. He had promised 10 lakh jobs and distribution of ration. He said over the last four years, the AP CM was unaware of Kadapa steel plant. Under this government, 60 government institutes were closed and many schools in rural areas were shut down, he said.

Speaking at the protest programme of YSRCP, party spokesperson Jogi Ramesh said that TDP MPs escaped from people when asked to follow YSRCP MPs and give up their posts. He congratulated the five YSRCP MPs who quit their posts for Special Category Status (SCS) to AP.

Echoing the same words, former MP YV Subba Reddy said while Congress bifurcated the state, the BJP in the name of correction was cheating people. Unhappy with both the political parties, YSRCP abstained from voting in the Rajya Sabha deputy chairman elections today, he said.

Subba Reddy said that the BJP had betrayed the people of AP by saying that it would give SCS to AP for 10 years. YSRCP was the only party which questioned BJP's misdeeds inside and outside the Parliament. He said that it was their party which had first placed no-confidence motion in the Parliament. Everyone is aware who had stopped the no-confidence motion from being taken up for discussion. People will teach the traitors a lesson in the next elections, he added.
