People Of Krishna District Are Obese: Chandrababu

Krishna: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu participated in Grama Darshini program in Thathakuntla village of Vissannapet mandal in Krishna district. Speaking at a review meeting on the implementation of various government schemes, Chandrababu said that the State can yield better results with the utilization of technology.

Chandrababu said that special attention was being taken to improve nutrition among children and women in the Anganwadi Centres. With a view to improve nutritional qualities among students, the AP CM inaugurated 'Bala Sanjeevini' program.

Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu commented that while the people of Rayalaseema were malnourished, people of Krishna district were obese. "Former MLA Swamidas is an example of it," Chandrababu pointed out.
