When Will Chandrababu Build The Capital: Pawan

Vijayawada: Jana Sena party president Pawan Kalyan questioned Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He said: "After acquiring one lakh acres of land and destroying the nature, when will the AP CM build the capital city." He said that the TDP leaders were grabbing land in the name of capital development. There was no action taken against the MLA who had assaulted a woman officer, he observed.

Pawan Kalyan said that such MLAs would become ministers, such a system should be questioned and even stopped. "Otherwise the atrocities of the ruling party will never be stopped." He said Godavari river water was fully polluted in West Godavari district, but the government was not concerned about it. He recalled Chandrababu saying that he would acquire only 1850 acres after the elections and was surprised that it had now become one lakh acre.

The Jana Sena chief warned Chandrababu of severe action if the illegal grabbing of land continued. He said they would hold farmers and public protest on the lines of what had recently happened in Maharashtra. "Farmers and the masses will come from all corners of the state to the capital city and stage a protest in front of CM's house. We will stall the capital city work," he said.

He further said that the CM was not an emperor. The state was not only for Chandrababu and he cannot take everyone for granted, he said and advised the government officers not to do whatever the CM had ordered.
