TDP Coaxes Ganta To Accompany Chandrababu On Vizag Tour
Visakhapatnam: After having shown his displeasure over the TDP top leadership for ill-treating him, the Andhra Pradesh HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao finally seems to have calmed down after the mediation of deputy chief minister Chinnarajappa. The minister has decided to join CM N Chandrababu Naidu on his Visakha tour and is expected to participate in various programmes with the CM.
The rift between the AP CM and Ganta reportedly began after Chandrababu did not respond to the former's call to intervene in a PIL filed against him in a land-grabbing case. The minister suspected that the filing of PIL against him was the handiwork of some TDP leaders. Moreover, the yellow media stories fuelled his anger at the party leadership. Consequently, he stayed away from all the party activities and government meetings.

With the HRD minister giving cabinet meeting a miss, the TDP leadership had assigned Chinnarajappa to mediate and calm Ganta. With the CM's Vizag tour on the cards, TDP leaders were keen that Ganta accompany Chandrababu especially when the latter visits Bheemili which happens to be Ganta's constituency.
The deputy CM persuaded the minister to participate in CM's tour. Though reluctant, Ganta promised to participate in all the CM's programmes during his Visakha tour.
