Andhra Bank PO attacked in Mumbai, Rs. 5 lakhs looted - Sakshi Post

An Andhra Bank PO was attacked near a railway station in Mumbai on Friday and the miscreants snatched away  Rs. 5 lakhs cash from him.

Subbarao, who is working in Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh, was beaten up by some persons. He was immediately shifted to Medanta Medicity Hospital in the city.

His condition is said to be serious now. He is a native of Singarayakonda in Prakasam district. The culprits also took away cash and valuables from him.

Officials of railway police are saying that more details on the incident can be known only after the victim recovers.
