11-year-old girl interviews Maha CM

Getting to interview chief minister is no easy task and every media reporter knows this.

But for Drishti Harchandrai all it took was an angry handwritten letter of one page. The chief minister specially sent his security personnel to bring Drishti and give her an interview.

And Drishti is just 11-year-old and is Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis's neighbour next door. She needed the interview as part of her school home work.
Drishti Harchandrai, a resident of Malabar Hill, near the Sahyadri guest house where the Chief Minister is currently staying, tried to meet the CM but was sent home by the security personnel.
Miffed, she wrote to the Chief Minister saying:

"The security guards are not allowing me in, if and when you get my letter please call on my cell number... I need an interview for school."

She even gave her address, where the Chief Minister could "send somebody" to tell her that he was "officially" inviting her. The new chief minister of Maharashtra called her and gave her the interview that she wanted. It is after giving her the interview that Fadnavis left for Nagpur.
