Youth’s Baahubali Prabhas Stunt Ends Up In His Death

Mumbai: Remember the iconic leap that Prabhas takes in Baahubali - The Beginning from one cliff to another cliff even as a mighty waterfall gushes down dangerously? A 27-year-old young man tried the reel leap in real life at the famed Mahuli waterfalls in Maharashtra's Thane district, with disastrous results.

According to the police, the victim was identified as Indrapal Patil from Bhiwandi town in the state. He visited Mahuli, a popular trekking destination, 77 kms away from Mumbai, along with his friends.

Meanwhile, the police maintained that such incidents have become quite common at the waterfall. They say youth try such tricks under the inspiration of movie stunts.

The body was shifted for post-mortem and a case has been registered.

The family members, however, alleged that it was planned attack and expressed the apprehension that someone might have pushed Patil from behind. His wife was shattered on hearing her husband's death.
