Though the first time the Singham actress is working with Pawan Kalyan, Kajal admits that she didn’t have to work too hard on her chemistry with the Power Star.

The 30-year-old Singham star, who made her acting debut as a cameo in Aishwarya Rai-starrer Kyun! Ho Gaya Na..., said strong script is the utmost criteria in taking up a project.

“I am extremely happy that people have accepeted me down South. I am doing good work there. But at the same time, I am not doing Bollywood just for the heck of it. Until and unless I don’t get good script and role, I don’t give my nod to a project in Bollywood,” Kajal told.

Kajal made her full-fledged foray in 2007 films with Telugu release Lakshmi Kalyanam. In the same year, she starred in the box office hit Chandamama, which earned her critical acclaim.

The 2009 historical fiction Magadheera marked a turning point in her career as it ranked among the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time. Kajal has a jam-packed 2016. Apart from Sardaar Gabbar Singh, she is starring in bilingual project Brahmotsavam.
