Telangana regions erupt in joy over Congress decision

With speculation rife that Congress had favoured a separate statehood for Telangana, celebrations were witnessed across several regions of the state which backed division of state.
Slogans of Jai Telangana slogans reverberated through Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad. There was festive atmosphere at the Osmania University campus where the Telangana movement gained momentum a few years ago.
