Steep rise in prices of vegetables
The prices of vegetables have skyrocketed in the last few days making a big hole in the pockets of consumers.
While the farmers aren't getting the best price for their produce, the middlemen are making the most revenue. The government on the other hand doesn't seem to be bothered about the situation and doing nothing to stop the exorbitant prices.
Consumers say that government can put a stop to high prices by importing vegetables from nearby states and offer them at subsidized prices. The prices at even Rythu Bazaars are anything but cheap.
