No-trust Vote Is Of No Use: Talasani

Hyderabad: Referring to the current political scenario in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has made a few comments here today. Speaking at the Assembly Media Point, he said, "The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is resorting to score a self goal in the state of Andhra Pradesh. After Chandrababu came out of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), he is imposing No-trust vote, which is of no use. It would have been beneficial if the TDP had questioned the centre on the Special Category Status (SCS) while they were part of NDA."

The TRS minister raised questions on the credibility of the NDA. "The BJP and TDP were united until recently. Why did Chandrababu not raise the issue of the SCS with the centre in the past four years? Why is Chandrababu worried if Vijaya Sai Reddy meets the Prime Minister? I am compelled to speak on the issue, keeping in view of fate of the people of AP," he added.
