An agreement was reached to establish Hyderabad as a crucial operational training center for McDonald's India operations. The company's chairman and CEO, Chris Kempczinski, along with several key executives, was present for the meeting. It is reported that McDonald's has cited Hyderabad's quality of living, skilled workforce, and modern infrastructure as main reasons for preferring the city over the likes of Bengaluru and Chennai.

Taking the opportunity to talk about the state's efforts in upskiling youth, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy highlighted the Young India Skills University, which was formed to create trained professionals for both McDonald's corporate operations and its restaurant network across India.

McDonald's decision to use produces coming from local farmers produce is one of the main highlights of this deal as farmers will get a huge push and it will be beneficial to the state's agrarian economy. McDonald's also plans to expand into smaller towns besides the 38 outlets that are already present in the state, thereby creating further jobs for the state's youth.
