KTR encroaching Sircilla lands: Mala Mahanadu activists

Activists of Mala Mahanadu staged a protest alleging that TRS leader and Sircilla MLA K. Tarakarama Rao was encroaching upon their lands at Gandhi Chowk in Sricilla on Saturday.

Raising slogans, the activists burnt effigies of KTR. Tension prevailed when the TRS party workers obstructed Dalit activists from burning effigies of their leader. This led to a scuffle between the two parties.

Police had to resort to lathicharge to bring the situation under control. The police took 10 Mala Mahanadu activists into custody.
