Bollywood diva Sridevi aka Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan who had entertained the audience for over four decades, breathed her last on Saturday night. The actress had been in Dubai to attend Mohit Marwah's wedding where she died due to cardiac arrest. She was 54.

She had made her acting debut at the age of four with the Tamil movie Thunaivan and later appeared in several movies as a child artiste. Sridevi made her Bollywood debut with Solva Sawan in 1978 as a lead actress and the movies like Himmatwala, Mr India, Judaai and Chandni established her career in the B-town.

She was born in Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu on August 13, 1963. She allegedly first got married Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty and later divorced him to get married film producer Boney Kapoor in 1996. But the news of their marriage was out a year later.

The actress rose to fame with the Tollywood movies like Padaharella Vayasu, Akali Rajyam, Vetagadu, Kshana Kshanam and Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari.
