Amazon Employees Steal Laptops Worth Rs20 Lakh From Warehouse  

Hyderabad: Nearly 36 laptops have been stolen from the Amazon warehouse located at Kothur in the Rangareddy district.

Police found that five employees of the company were involved in the theft and proceeding to take action against them. A theft case under IPC section 380 has been booked on Sunday.

The incident came to light during the internal audit which revealed 20 HP and 16 Apple laptops were stolen by the employees. The warehouse supervisor Naga Subbareddy said that the stolen items are worth Rs 20 lakh.

Kothur SI A. Srisailam said, "The internal audit revealed that five employees had stolen laptops worth over Rs 20 lakh. We are ascertaining the employees who committed theft.”
