The movie - 'Naa Peru Surya', which is touted to be a patriotic action film, is being directed by Vakkantham Vamsi. It It also marks the debut of Vamsi. The director had earlier penned scripts like Kick, Race Gurram and Temper which were box office hits.

The movie is expected to be released by Sankranti next year. Producers Sirisha and Sridhar Lagadapati are upbeat over the progress of the pre-production. Naa Peru Surya' is being produced under the banner of Ramalakshmi Cine Creations. Tamil senior stars Arjun Sarja and R Sarathkumar are roped in for key roles in the movie. Tollywood's new sensation Anu Emanuel is playing the female lead.
