‘All TDP MLAs Are Black MLAs’

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party's (YSRCP) senior leader Bhuman Karunakar Reddy called the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLAs as 'Black MLAs' as they have been bought with black money by the TDP leadership.

Addressing the media here on Saturday, he said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has lost self-confidence and is hence "purchasing" MLAs of other parties through black money. Terming the TDP-rule has been filled with scams and not schemes for the welfare of the people, he said none of the over 600 promises made by Chandrababu Naidu during 2014 elections were fulfilled. "Chandrababu is under the wrong impression that people are with him and is therefore poaching on MLAs of other parties through threat and coercion. An example of such poaching is the shift in loyalties of Uppuleti Kalpana," Karunakar Reddy said.

The TDP itself is a party of contradictions, he said and added that the party charges TRS in Telangana with buying its MLAs whereas in Andhra Pradesh it is resorting to the same "black" strategy.
