All CETs In Telangana To Be Conducted In May

Hyderabad: The Telangana state government has issued the schedule for the Common Entrance Tests (CETs) for admission to various professional courses in the state for the academic year 2017-18.

According to the TS Council for Higher Education, EAMCET will be held on May 12, 2017, ECET on May 6, PECET on May 16, ICET on May 18, LAWCET and PG-LCET on May 27, EDCET on May 28 and PG-ECET on May 30.

This year the admission to medical courses (MBBS/ BDS) will only be through the national-level NEET. However, for agriculture, veterinary and other allied courses, admissions will be made through the medical stream exam of Eamcet.

JNTU-Hyderabad has been entrusted the responsibility of conducting the EAMCET again. The examination will be held offline, as usual, despite proposals to conduct the test online in order to prevent leaking of question papers.
