Alert driver saves passengers as Volvo bus catches fire

Another Volvo bus suddenly went up in flames a la Palem bus tragedy. Thankfully, alert driver ensured that there was no casualty by evacuating all passengers.

A Chennai-Hyderabad Volvo Bus suddenly caught fire near Chagallu in Prakasam district in the wee hours of Wednesday. The driver noticed smoke billowing from the fuel tank and stopped the vehicle immediately to help the safe evacuation of the passengers. The bus turned into ashes in no time, burning luggage and other belongings of the passengers. Cause for the ignition is not yet known.
