Akbaruddin Owaisi petition rejected by court

In a major set back to MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Friday rejected a writ petition filed by him in connection with a hate speech case.
Akbaruddin Owaisi had filed a writ petition requesting the court to direct the police to refrain from filing multiple FIRs against him in different police stations on the grounds that cases against him are already booked in Nirmal and Nizamabad towns.
Rejecting the petition, the court ruled that there will be one probe although different FIRs have registered for a single case.
