AgriGold Victims Form All India Association

Hyderabad: Depositors who were duped by AgriGold held a meeting at the Exhibition Grounds in Hyderabad on Sunday to form all India association and fight for a speedy repayment of their money.

Speaking at the meeting, Mala Mahanadu president Karem Shivaji demanded that the government take over all the binami properties of AgriGold and take measures for their speedy disposal for the repayment. He also demanded a CBI inquiry into the scam. He alleged that some people in the government positions were protecting the AgriGold owners and that's why no arrest was made so far even though the scam involved deposits to the tune of Rs28,000 crore. He called upon all the depositors to come together and intensify the stir until the issue is resolved.

Depositors and agents from various states participated in the meeting.
