After violating EC rules, TDP members resort to rigging
Hyderabad, Telugu Desam Party, it would seem, in their desperation to garner last minute votes are resorting to violence, caste politics, bribery and the like.
The members have, in many places, violated the rules and guidelines issued by EC. Most importantly, the TDP members have indulged in rigging in many places.
As per reports, TDP men have participated in rigging across Srikakulam and Kurnool districts. Open rigging took place in M .Rajapuram village and Palakonda constituency in Veeragattam, Srikakulam district.
Sakshi TV video grabs have shown a woman voting three times in a polling booth. YSRCP leaders have complained to district collecter.
TDP also took to booth capturing in Avuku,Uppalapadu, Junnuthala of Kurnool district.
YSRCP strongly protested against the unruly behaviour of TDP members, and for a brief period tension gripped Ward no. 43, NR Peta, Kurnool.
YSRCP men tried to stop TDP members, but they were allegedly attacked.
TDP men captured the booth at Karingavaripalem in Nagara mandal as well.
TDP men attacked YSRCP leader Nagendra who opposed them from rigging ar Mindi in Visakhapatnam district also.
