Nagarkurnool: Criminals get caught by their habits, they say. That's exactly what happened in the sensational murder of a man by his wife and her paramour in Nagarkurnool.

The woman, Swathi, planned her husband's murder in a cinematic manner. She, with the help of her paramour Rajesh, smothered her husband Manda Sudhakar Reddy when he was in deep sleep. Then they shifted the body to an isolated place outside the town and burnt it to ashes.

In their second episode in the whole drama, Swathi wanted people to believe that Rajesh was Sudhakar Reddy. She poured acid on Rajesh's face to change his identity. She cried for help saying someone attacked her husband with acid. People, including Sudhakar Reddy's parents, believed her claims and admitted Rajesh to a hospital and provided treatment.

Their entire plan got unravelled due to a strange quirk of fate. Sudhakar Reddy was a non-vegetarian who would have gladly had a bowl of mutton soup. Rajesh being a pure vegetarian, refused to drink mutton soup and this seemed odd to Sudhakar Reddy’s parents, who were suspicious about Rajesh as his voice and style of speaking were differen. They came to the conclusion that the man who was undergoing treatment was not their son.

Reddy’s parents approached the police and lodged a complaint. After arresting Swathi and Rajesh, policesoon cracked the mysterious murder case.
