After Hello, Trade Analysts Eye Agnyaathavaasi
Akhil's much waited flick Hello released in theatres yesterday. The film opened to mixed reviews. While expectations were riding high after the hyped promotions of Akkineni Nagarjuna, the film failed to garner the expected response from the audience. No, we are definitely not dismissing it as a box office dud yet. But let me tell you Hello collections on first day failed to beat the collections of actor's first film Akhil. But going by the reviews and positive word of mouth publicity, the film's collections are likely to pick up given that it's a long holiday weekend until next week when Allu Sirish's Okka Kshanam will hit the Marquee. It's worth mentioning here that film critics had gone ga ga over Akhil's high-octane action sequences in Hello. Probably why the trade pundits went overboard predicting whopping moolah for the film at the box office.
Now, while we wait to see if the film will indeed rake in that kind of money, the focus has now turned to Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi. The film is slated for release on January 10. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film features Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel as the leading ladies. The hype for this film is high given the actor-director duo delivering hits in their previous collaborations.
Going by the response the teaser and first look of Agnyaathavaasi evoked from the audience, trade analysts are betting big on the movie. If a report doing the rounds is anything to go by, then Agnyaathavaasi will break all records set by Pawan's earlier movies.
What do you think guys? Have you watched the teaser yet? You think Agnyaathavaasi has such potential? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
