African Woman Set Ablaze in Oman

In a shocking incident, an Omani woman was arrested on charges of murdering an African expat. The Royal Oman of Oman (ROP) issued a statement saying, "The Department of the Criminal Investigation of Dhofar police arrested a woman over a murder charge."

The official said that, before the accused poured an inflammable substance on the African woman in Dhofar, she beat her severely which resulted in her death.

The Omani woman has admitted to her crime. The case has been referred to judicial authorities. It is yet to be known why an altercation broke out between them and the reason behind the attack by Omani national.

Meanwhile, Unable to financially support his family in Telangana, a man working in the Gulf committed suicide after sending a WhatsApp message to his friends.

A native of Badhampalli in Mancherial, Thota Nagaraju (24), was working in Doha (Qatar) since five years. He was initially promised Rs 8779 (500 Dirhams) per month by his employer. However, that amount was reduced by Rs 1,756 due to unexplained reasons. Unable to make his ends meet in a foreign country, Nagaraju committed suicide at his workplace. In his last message to his friends on WhatsApp, he urged them to take care of his parents and younger brother.
