Leaders of Advocates JAC have gheraoed the Union Minister for Tourism K.Chiranjeevi today at Rajahmundry for deliberately being silent on the Telangana bill.

The convoy of the minister has been obstructed by the advocates at Kambala Cheruvu area near Rajahmundry. Raising the slogans ‘Jai Samaikhyandhra’, the advocates tried to move towards the convoy of the minister. But, the swift police action prevented them from doing so.

With this, the mega star could unveil the statue of Late S.V.Ranga Rao near Godavari river. Chiranjeevi praised the late actor for his services to the cine field. Earlier in the day, Chiranjeevi visited the house of former APIIC chairman, S.S.Rama Subrahmanyam.

Later he inaugurated the Eco Tourism Park at Kadiyam. Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that he would fight till the last minute for keeping the state united. The advocates questioned the minister the steps he took so far for keeping the state united.

It may be recalled that the minister visited the area when the entire Seemandhra region has been boiling with the process of bifurcating the state.
